Missouri Legislators discuss illegal gaming and abortion

We're a little under five weeks until the start of the next legislative session in Missouri.

Some pre-filed legislation got some bill numbers this week. Missouri Senate President Pro Tem Dave Schatz says he wants to see an end to illegal gaming in the Show-Me State.

"Obviously, I think it was a mechanism that would probably make people have to determine whether they want to operate legally or illegally."

Meanwhile, Senate Minority Floor Leader Gina Walsh plans to undo a House bill related to abortion.

"It's unconstitutional.  It's dangerous.  And it is outrageous that it has no exemptions for victims of human trafficking, rape, or incest."

The second regular session of the 100th General Assembly starts at noon on Wednesday, January 8th.
